Saxby 81572 Ravel Trimless Plaster-in Fire Rated GU10 Downlight

Create a clean ceiling finish with the Saxby Ravel 81572 trimless plaster-in GU10 downlight. Its plaster-in surround blends into the ceiling, leaving a discreet recessed opening instead of a visible decorative bezel.

Designed to be fitted before the final plaster finish, the Ravel is a practical choice for renovation and new-build projects where a minimal look matters. The replaceable GU10 bulb lets you choose the light output and colour temperature for your space.

Choose Your GU10 Bulb

Select the fitting on its own or add a GU10 bulb using the options above:

• Fitting only: no bulb included.

• 3000K warm white: a warmer appearance for relaxed interiors.

• 4000K cool white: a more neutral appearance for everyday lighting.

• 6000K daylight white: a cooler, crisp white appearance.

For dimming, use a dimmable GU10 bulb with a compatible dimmer switch. Check the specification of your selected bulb before ordering.

Designed for a Seamless Finish

The plaster-in design conceals the surrounding flange beneath the finished ceiling surface. Plan installation alongside your electrical and plastering work, rather than treating it as a direct replacement for a standard bezel downlight.

A fast-fix loop-in, loop-out connector box is supplied to assist installation.

Check Before Ordering

This is an IP20 fitting. Where moisture protection is required, choose a fitting with the appropriate IP rating for the location.

Fire-rating suitability depends on the ceiling construction and installation. Ask your electrician to check the manufacturer’s instructions and fire-test information against your project.

Allow sufficient ceiling space for the fitting and follow the specified installation clearances.
